Hasan ULUSOY is the chairman of NOBEL ILAC, which is an affiliated company of ULKAR HOLDING, and a front-running, Turkish pharmaceutical manufacturer and exporter, headquartered in Istanbul. Mr. ULUSOY studied Chemical Engineering (BSc and MSc) at Technical University, Berlin (Die Technische Universitaet Berlin) and Business Administration at Technical University, Aachen (RWTH). He joined NOBEL ILAC, ULUSOY family-owned company, in 1978, and serves as the chairman since 1990. Under Mr. ULUSOY’s leadership, NOBEL ILAC has become a strong player in the region. Besides Turkey, the company realized an amazing growth by establishing subsidiaries in 24 other countries and manufacturing facilities, predominantly located in Central Asia, the Balkans, North East Europe and the Middle East. As a result of Mr. ULUSOY’s vision and entrepreneurship, NOBEL ILAC is now a pioneer and enjoys enduring successes in pharmaceutical manufacturing, research, development, sales, marketing, import and export. The recent launch of the first biosimilar Epoetin product, investments into R&D, preclinical, and clinical studies of new molecules are also among the remarkable achievements of the company. Mr. ULUSOY is a board member of Pharmaceutical Industry Association of Turkey (TISD) and American Turkish Council (ATC) as well as a member of Turkish Industry and Business Association (TUSIAD). Apart from being the leader of a successful business, Mr. ULUSOY is a wonderful father of two sons and a devoted husband. Mr. ULUSOY is fluent in Turkish, German, and English.
