Bio
John Marquardt is a registered patent attorney. He practices intellectual property patent litigation and client counseling in the fields of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. He also provides strategic intellectual property advice and prosecutes patents in the areas of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. Dr. Marquardt has extensive technical expertise in biochemistry, molecular pharmacology, and structural biology. He holds a B.S. in Physics from M.I.T. and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Pharmacology at Harvard. He was awarded a Helen Hay Whitney Fellowship for post-doctoral studies of N.M.R. spectroscopy at the N.I.H.. He applies this technical background to his patent prosecution, litigation, and counseling. Dr. Marquardt served as an intern to the Honorable Randall R. Rader, currently Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
